Organic food consumption: a literature review on motives and barriers

چکیده

In recent years, the consumption of organic food - sustainable has increased significantly in many parts world. Besides factors that promote behavior, there are also barriers to reducing demand for this food. This study aims present and discuss influence behavior. We review, synthesize, analyze 86 studies conducted from different countries. The main results consist theoretical frameworks applied context, motivations nine motivational are: concern personal health; health attributes food; safety; quality; sensory aspects; environmental concerns; knowledge; social values; personality. Price; lack information availability; doubt regarding certification/labeling trust stakeholders considered as barriers. addition, implications further research discussed.
